So instead of studying for this nasty exam my brain has decided that it is time to share with you some music which reminds me very much of The Punishment.

Probably some of it doesn’t fit, but everytime I listen to it I imagine scenes, moments and the atmosphere of this awesome story.

Awolnation - Jump on my shoulders - I don’t know why. I guess if you replace the word “mad man” with “mad omnipotent AI” it’s all about running away from GLaDOS who’s lurking behind the corner (or at least this works for me). I imagine Chell and Wheatley walking and running through Aperture.

Zeromancer - Lamp Halo - This one is my favourite and it fits the story perfectly - chapter 11 and 12 and 16 especially.

Switchfoot - Learning to breathe - For me it’s about Wheatley learning how to be a human and asking for forgiveness and also hoping to redeem himself.

Poets of the Fall - Maybe Tomorrow is a Better Day - This one reminds me too much of your Wheatley when he’s feeling down.

Akira Yamaoka - Rain of Brass Petals - GLaDOS in Wheatley’s head. All the way. And Aperture. Makes me feel like I was there. Walking the catwalks in the dark.

Dashboard Confessional - Until Morning - Except for the first verse, the whole song reminds me of the time they’ve spent in employee dormitories and how they want to stay there more but have to move on and they don’t want to because damn it feels so nice to sleep together in soft warm beds and it’s dark and scary outside (long sentece is longer than I expected).

Frank Sinatra - Too Marvelous for Words - I don’t know. This one isn’t entirely related to the story. I just imagine Your Wheatley singing this to Chell <3

Ha, well, those would be more Conquerorwurm’s department.  She writes and I just make the pictures (and she’s almost done with the next chapter!)  I think I have a pretty good understanding of the characters but I’m not enough of an authority to answer questions about them beyond just the little joke picture scenarios I come up with sometimes.  Thanks for the ideas!  

Err umm I don’t really know how a Q&A would actually go down! But I do promise the next chapter is in the process of being written. It’s almost done. Really almost done. I’m just dealing with some graduating/moving/saying goodbye to people stuff at the moment, but I’m going to try hard to get things going again soon.
